WILMA (SMITH) TRIMBATH

Wilma Jane Trimbath, age 95 of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.  She was formerly of Clarksville, Pennsylvania and born on January 29, 1927, in Centerville Borough, Pennsylvania, one of four children of John Glenn Smith and Ruby (Goss) Smith.

Wilma was a member of the Wilson Presbyterian Church in the Wilson section of Clairton, Pennsylvania and a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Clairton Chapter No. 316.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wendell Trimbath; their son, Robert Scott Trimbath and her three siblings, sister Margaret Rankin and brothers Earl and Charles Smith.

Wilma is survived by her daughter, Leslie (Alan) Danzey of Jefferson Hills; three grandsons, Corey (Kelly) Danzey of San Diego, California, Alex (Katie) Danzey of Camp Hill, Pennsylvania and Tyler Danzey of Boston, Massachusetts and three great grandchildren, McKinley Anne and Corbin Robert Danzey and Reese Elizabeth Danzey.

Friends will be received on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 2 – 7 PM in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 (412-384-0350) www.stephendslater.com.  Wilma’s funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 10:30 AM with Pastor Ben Robinson of the Wilson Presbyterian Church officiating.  Interment will be at 12:30 PM in Greene County Memorial Park Cemetery in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.
