Wayne K. Cadman

Wayne Cadman age 89 of South Park, Pennsylvania, died peacefully on Saturday, October 5, 2024. Born in Trafford, Pennsylvania on May 19, 1935, Wayne was the oldest of 3 children of Charles Emlyn Cadman and Frances Eileen (Watson) Cadman.

Wayne graduated from Munhall High School in 1953 as the Valedictorian of his class. He then earned an Engineering degree from Carnegie Technical College, now Carnegie Mellon University. He loved fishing, Corvettes, dogs and especially, vacationing with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sons, Wayne “Charley” Cadman and Jeffrey S. Cadman and a great granddaughter, Oaklee Jean Stinner. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elaine Cadman, 2 children, Sharon (Noel) Slater and Stephen Cadman; 7 grandchildren, Annelise Cadman, Kenzie (Robert) Stinner, Jules and Lydia Slater and Mason, Reilly and Landon Cadman; 1 great granddaughter, Mia Grace Stinner; 2 sisters, Carol (Keith) Cooper and Barbara (Tim) Palmer and a daughter-in-law, Beth Cadman.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 1 – 3 pm and 6 – 8 pm in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 Jefferson Hills, PA 15025 (412-384-0350) www.stephendslater.com. On Saturday, October 12, 2024, there will be visitation from 10 am until the time of Wayne’s funeral service at 11 am in the funeral home. His burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery.
