Todd Hudson Edwards

Todd Edwards, age 54 of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. He was born Todd Hudson Edwards in Lancaster, Ohio on January 16, 1971, a son of William James “Billy” Edwards and Ruth Ellen (Scholl) Edwards. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Deanna Klausing. Todd is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 30 years, Beth Ann (Klausing) Edwards; their daughter, Olivia Sierra Edwards; 2 brothers, Tom Martin of Stuart, Florida and William E. (Donna) Martin of Lancaster, Ohio; his father-in-law, Ronald Klausing; brother-in-law, Chad Rogers and sister-in-law, Teresa (Klausing) Rogers; 6 nieces and 1 nephew, Heather and Josh Martin, Janine (Martin) Bryan, Katie (Martin) Klucinec, Angie Martin and Callie and Emma Rogers.

Todd was a man who lived life with zest and style, whether he was camping under the stars and satellites with friends and family, hunting in the wilds of Ohio, or fishing (although he would say “it was only fun when the fish actually bit, otherwise it was just an expensive boat ride”).

He cherished taking his daughter Olivia to concerts, where they would sing along to their favorite Grateful Dead tunes. He was a die-hard Ohio State University fan. His love for the Buckeyes sparked a lifelong passion for football and local brews, both were sacred on Saturdays! In the kitchen, he was always experimenting with new recipes, whipping up dishes that were as bold as his spirit. On a warm sunny day you might catch him cruising in his Dodge Challenger, turning heads with every “rev” or unwinding with a cold beer or two….. because to him, life was about savoring the good moments with his family!

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 1 – 5 pm in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51, Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 (412-384-0350) www.stephendslater.com. Todd will be buried on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at 1:45 pm in Maple Grove Cemetery Lancaster, Ohio with his parents and grandparents.
