TERRY SANDS

Terry Sands, age 73 of Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania, died on Wednesday, October 7, 2020.  Terry was born on March 2, 1947 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania a son of Robert Henry Sands and Dolores (McCready) Sands.

He grew up in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1966.  Terry worked 43 years as a supervising Clerk in the Prothonotary’s Office of Allegheny County.  He was a youth soccer coach in Jefferson Hills and was a Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 7060 in West Elizabeth, Pennsylvania during the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.  He loved fishing and the Steelers.

He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife of 45 years, Diana (Godlewski) Sands; two children, Son, Chris (Beth) Sands and daughter, Amy (Robert Parenteau) Sands both of Frederick, Maryland and two granddaughters, Nora and Sloane Sands.
