Samantha “Sam” Shallenberger, age 22 of Finleyville, Pennsylvania, died suddenly on Saturday, September 3, 2022.  She was born April 18, 2000, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania a daughter of George Joseph Shallenberger and Sandra Marie (Crouch) Shallenberger.

Sam was a graduate of Ringgold High School in Washington County, Pennsylvania, the class of 2018, where she was a member of the swimming, basketball and track teams and enjoyed going out with friends.

She is survived by her mother, Sandra of Finleyville; her father, George; two siblings, her brother, William “Bill” Shallenberger and sister, Amanda Shallenberger; grandparents, Dorothy and George Shallenberger; a great aunt, Marianne Kranik, an aunt, Bobbi Crouch and many cousins.

A Memorial Mass will be held for Samantha in St John XXIII Parish, St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in the Floreffe area of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 11 AM.

She will be buried at a later date in Round Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania.
