Ruth C. Williams

Ruth Williams, age 76 of Union Township, Finleyville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 15, 2023.  Ruth was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania on November 22, 1946, one of three children of Joseph and Delores (Michaels) Turek.

She loved playing the piano and organ, reading and enjoyed playing cards with her friends.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald J. Turek.  She is survived by her loving  husband, Paul L. Williams; three loving daughters, Paula (Steve) Neubert of Woodstock, Georgia, Becky (Bob) Fedor of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania and Kerry DeFelices of Carroll Township, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Joley (Caleb) Shelton and Paul Neubert; her sister, Adele Turek of Clairton, Pennsylvania; nieces and nephews and her dog, Phoebe.

Family and friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51, Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 (412-384-0350) www.stephendslater.com on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, from 2 – 8 pm. Ruth’s funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 10 am.  Her burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, her family asks for donations to be made in her name to any animal shelter in your local area.
