ROGER LEO STEGMAN

Age 75, of Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania, formerly of Clairton, Pennsylvania, died Sunday, August 5, 2012. He was born August 1, 1937 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania one of three children, all boys, to Frank Philip Stegman and Eva (Synko) Stegman. Roger was a foreman with US Steel’s Clairton Works, working there for over 30 years. He was also a manager at Elena’s Bar in Clairton and an electrical technician for Murray Amusement in Glassport, Pennsylvania
He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Loretta (Agostine) Stegman; four daughters, Deborah (Terry) Lewis of Finleyville, Pennsylvania, Cynthia (Albert Criswell) O’Dell of Clairton, Pegi (Kurt Fuls) Pavlik of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania and Lisa (Richard) Slavick of Port Monroe, Virginia; two stepdaughters, Amanda (Aaron) King of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania and Audra (Frank) Corente of Port Vue, Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren, Deanne (Chuck) Fulmer of Jefferson Hills, Brittany and Dylan Slavick, both of Virginia, Maddy, Libby and Aarison King, Brittany Gouker and Sal and Talia Corente; three great grandchildren, Brenden and Carson Leo Fulmer and Mason Gouker and two brothers, James Garber of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania and Duane Garber of Elizabeth Township.
A Memorial Mass and Celebration of Roger’s life will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 in St. Thomas A 'Becket Catholic Church on Gill Hall Road in Jefferson Hills at 10 AM. His family suggests donations to the Fallen Timber Animal Shelter, 1680 Fallen Timber Road, Elizabeth, Pennsylvania 15037 in his name.
