ROBERT LEE “BOB” ELLIOTT

Bob Elliott age 67 of Baldwin Borough in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania died at his home on Saturday, December 10, 2022. Bob was born May 23, 1955, in Weston, West Virginia one of ten children of James Wesley Elliott and Wanda Jean (Moneypenny) Elliott.

He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School of the West Jefferson Hills School District in 1973.  After graduation he went to work for McDonalds Corporation at the Pleasant Hills location and worked his way up to a manager.  He later worked for Don Farr Moving and Storage Company in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania and later for US Foods and Paragon Foods. Bob’s last employment was for Beltex Industrial Textile Company in Pittsburgh as a Truck Driver.

Bob was an antique car enthusiast, he loved country music and oldies and was a true “handyman” as friends called him for anything they needed fixed.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Larry “Joe” Elliott and John “Mike” Elliott.  He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kathy (LeVake) Elliott; his remaining seven siblings, Barbara Elliott, Jim (Donna) Elliott of Pittsburgh, Kathy Elliott of Elizabeth, PA, Alisha (Joe) Lebarty of Brookline, Pittsburgh, PA, and Nora “Libby” Elliott, Joyce Elliott, Mary Lou Elliott, all of Elizabeth, PA; son-in-law of Irene LeVake; brother-in-law of Pat (Ken) Altemare, Lynn (John) Kurhan, and Jack (Diane) LeVake; loving uncle of Chris (Melissa), Julie, Stacie (Vic), John (Jen), Joe (Jan), Lauren, Jacob, Danielle (Nate), Jaclyn (“JT”), Wes, Christina, Zach and many great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 4 – 7 PM in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 (412-384-0350) www.stephendslater.com.  On Thursday, December 15, 2022, there will be a Prayer in the funeral home at 9:30 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Sylvester Church at 10:30 AM. Bob will be buried in St. Joseph / St. George Cemetery (the St. George side) on Brownsville Road, Carrick, Pennsylvania.

As Bob loved wearing casual clothes, especially sweaters, please attend his visitation and funeral Mass in casual attire and if possible, your favorite sweater!
