R. DUANE AND LOUISE LEWIS
Robert Duane Lewis, age 72 and Louise Marie (Capul) Lewis, age 73, both of Clairton, Pennsylvania, died on January 17, 2018. Duane was born on February 12, 1945 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania one of two children of Robert Elmer and Sara Louise (Criswell) Lewis and worked for US Steel as a Manager and Foreman. Louise was born on January 13, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland one of nine children of Louis J. and Theresa (Pasquerell) Capul and worked as a waitress for Eat N Park Restaurants. They were members of St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Clairton.
They are the parents of Robert (Mary) Lewis of Montclair, Virginia, Duane (Dawn) Lewis of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania and Jeffrey (Tricia) Lewis of Finleyville, Pennsylvania. They are also survived by nine grandchildren, Brian, Abigale, Joseph, Robert, Felicia, Henry, Sophia, Bryce and AJ. Duane is survived by a sister, Hilda Romano and Louise is survived by five sisters, Irene Rossi, Loretta Valvo, Mary Ann Lewis, Frances Lawson and Terese Capul; one brother, Mark Capul; her stepmother, Carole Capul and preceded in death by a sister, Joan Kutscher and a brother, Anthony Capul.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN D. SLATER FUNERAL HOME (Large) in Jefferson Hills, on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 2 – 8 PM. A Blessing service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 11 AM with Father Chuck Baptiste of the St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church officiating.
In lieu of flowers, their family suggests donations to help with the funeral expenses.
