PEARL  BAXENDELL

Pearl Baxendell, age 86, of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania died Friday, December 14, 2012.  She was born Pearl Marie Souders, February 24, 1926 in Jefferson Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania one of two children of James William and Inez (Lancaster) Souders.  Pearl was a member of Lebanon Presbyterian Church and the Lebanon Women’s Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Baxendell, her brother, William Souders and son-in-law, Robert Cox.  Pearl is survived by two children, daughter, Lana J. Cox of West Mifflin and son, Robert (Gail) Baxendell of Aberdeen, Maryland;  five grandchildren, Gregory (Patty) Cox, Kathi (Rusty) Suprek, Jeffrey Cox, Donald and James Baxendell;  2 great-grandchildren, Aaron Cox and Kylie Suprek and two nieces.

Friends will be received from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM on Sunday in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 State Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills. Pennsylvania.  Her funeral service will be on Monday at 11 AM in Lebanon Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Robert Titus officiating.  Interment will be in the Lebanon Church Cemetery.  If desired family suggests contributions to Lebanon Presbyterian Church 2800 Old Elizabeth Road, West Mifflin, Pennsylvania 15122.
