PAULINE BRUNO
Age 94, formerly of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania died Saturday, October 1, 2011 at her daughter’s home in Whitehall, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania surrounded by family members. Born September 9, 1917 in Clairton, Pennsylvania she was the last surviving child of John and Anna (Csmerka) Ferdoko.
In addition to her parents and 9 siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph O. Bruno in 1983. Surviving are 3 children, Saundra Matthews of Tomball, Texas, Joseph Vincent (Tina) Bruno of Elizabeth and Melanie Shearer, with whom she resided; 9 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM, Tuesday in Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 State Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania where a Blessing Service will be held at 12 Noon with Father Wagner of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Elizabeth officiating. Interment will be in Round Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth Township.
