Norma B. McNeil

Norma (Bisogni) McNeil, age 88 of West Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024. She was born Norma Louise Bisogni, on February 15, 1936, in Clairton, Pennsylvania, one of two daughters of Leo and Ann (Rothbauer) Bisogni.

Her family lived in the Floreffe / Elrama area and Norma graduated from Clairton High School in 1954. She was a member of the high school band. During her high school years and after graduating she had various jobs, working at the Capital Movie Theater in Clairton, working for Haines grocery store in the Wilson section of Clairton, and working for Bell Telephone. In her later years she worked for the West Jefferson Hills School District as a substitute cafeteria worker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Thornton McNeil in 1999. Norma is survived by their three children, daughter, Alice McNeil of Oviedo, Asturias, Spain and two sons, Neil McNeil of Saltsburg, Pennsylvania and Matthew (Kelley) McNeil of Delray Beach, Florida; two grandchildren, Morgan and Ella McNeil; her sister, Mercedes Deutsch of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania and nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends will be received on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 1 – 3 pm and 5 – 7 pm in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 Jefferson Hills, PA 15025 (412-384-0350) www.stephendslater.com. Norma’s funeral service will be held in the funeral home during the visitation on Monday at 6 pm. Her burial in Round Hill Cemetery next to her husband will be private.
