MARTHA (McKINLEY) WHITE

Martha A. (McKinley) White, age 88, of Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania formerly of Pleasant Hills, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, died on Thursday, November 15, 2012 with her loving family by her side at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania.  She was born in Monongahela, Pennsylvania on March 16, 1924 a daughter of William L. and Margaret S. (Hamilton) McKinley.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert D. “Whitey” White, Sr.; a brother, William L. McKinley, Jr. and a sister, Margaret Lillico.  She is survived by a daughter, Martha A Fabry and her husband John, of Fairchance, Pennsylvania and a son, Gilbert D. White, Jr. of Elizabeth Township; granddaughter Erin L. Schumacher and her husband Dr. Stephen, of Upper Arlington, Ohio; grandson, Christopher “C.J.” Fabry of Jefferson Hills; great grandchildren, Nicholas and Elizabeth Schumacher; sisters, Jane Wright of Washington, Pennsylvania and Pat DeSantis of Trinity, Florida.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 State Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM.  Martha was a member of the Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church 199 Old Clairton Road, Pleasant Hills, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15236 where a funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 11 AM with Pastor Sharon Stewart officiating (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH) .  Entombment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery in Pleasant Hills.
