MARLENE (BETZ) ROCHE

Marlene Roche age 79 of Hazelwood, formerly of Shadyside, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania died on Friday, December 11, 2020.  Marlene was born on June 25, 1941 in Pittsburgh a daughter of John Herbert Betz and Grace M. (Guthrie) Betz.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, John Joseph “Jack” Roche on December 4, 2009.

Marlene is survived by her three daughters, Mary Grace (Andrew) Lazor, Coleen (Eddy) Chu and Kathy (Brian) Kelley-Chalfant; six grandchildren, Josh (Angela) Chu, Kevin (Melissa) Chu, Corey Lazor, Bobby Kelley, Courtney Kelley and Sage Chalfant and one great granddaughter, Aria Chu.

Due to Covid19 Virus and current restrictions only 10 people will be allowed into the funeral home at a time.  Please be patient you may have to wait outside or in your car for a time.  Upon entering the funeral home, please pay your condolences to the family in a timely manner and exit the building so others may enter. Thank you for your courtesy and patience .

Family and friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home on Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM.  Marlene’s funeral service will be private on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 and her burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery next to her husband.
