MARK  WAWRZENIAK

Mark Wawrzeniak, age 59 of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, died unexpectedly on Monday, October 22, 2018.  He was born, Mark Michael Wawrzeniak, on June 28, 1959 in Homestead, Pennsylvania one of three children of Robert and Mary Rita (Hornyak) Wawrzeniak.

He loved his family dearly and lit up when his grandchildren came to visit. He enjoyed sports, especially when his kids played. Mark also loved conversing with people and always had to tell a joke, his positivity was contagious.

Mark was preceded in death by his mother and a sister, Lynn A Sobczak.  He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Beth Wawrzeniak; three children, son, Luke (Angela) Wawrzeniak and daughters, Morgan (Justin) Siemon and Madison Wawrzeniak; two grandchildren, Charlee and Walker Siemon (and one on the way!); his father, Robert; and his sister, Kelly (Paul) Heatherington.

Friends will be received on Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 2 – 8 PM in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home (Large) Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 (412-384-0350).  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 10 AM in St. Thomas A’ Becket Catholic Church 139 Gill Hall Road, Jefferson Hills with Father Daniel Maurer celebrating the Mass. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH.
