MARGARET  ANNE  MILLER

Margaret Miller, age 70 of Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania, died Monday, January 11, 2021.  Marg was born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania on June 3, 1950 one of four children of Jack G. Veronick, Sr. and Donna L. (Shaw) Veronick.

She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania in 1968 and began a career as a secretary.  She started her work immediately after high school working for Lincoln Bank and Trust in Large (now Jefferson Hills) Pennsylvania, which became Three Rivers Bank.  Later she worked for US Steel at the Clairton Works in Clairton, Pennsylvania, moving on to Duquesne Light Company, where she worked the longest, finally going back into banking for a short time before retiring.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edward Gerard Miller in March of 2009 and two brothers-in-law, David Ruffing and Donald Pollock.  Marg is survived by her three siblings, sisters, Kathryn Ruffing of Virginia Beach, Virginia (formerly of Franklin, PA), Mildred Pollock of Floreffe in Jefferson Hills and Jack Veronick, Jr. of Pleasant Hills with whom she resided.  She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 (412-384-0350) www.stephendslater.com on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 12:30 pm - 4 pm.  A Blessing Service for Marg will be held during the visitation at 1PM .

Due to Covid 19 restrictions only 20 people will be allowed in the funeral home at a time.  During this difficult time, please sign the family register book, visit briefly with the family, and take leave so that others may enter, visit with the family and pay respects.  Please know there may be a waiting period outside the building or in your car.  All visitors to the funeral home must wear a mask at all times.  Thank you for your understanding.

Marg’s passion was going to Antique Shops with her friends.
