MANUEL "MO" ASCENCIO
“Mo” Ascencio age 77 died on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at his home in Finleyville surrounded by family and friends. He was born March 9, 1935 in Pittsburgh, a son of Jesus and Elizabeth (Moritz) Ascencio. Mo had a beautiful voice and a passion for singing and was proud to have served during the Korean War as a member of the 82nd Airborne. He retired after 35 years of service at Voss TV and Appliance in Gill Hal l.
“Mo” was the Best Friend and Loving Husband of Linda Sue (Wetmiller) Round Ascencio; Father of John Michael (Jan), Tony (Judy), Rick and James Ascencio; Step father of Dawn Kelly, Amy Round and Daniel Round, Jr; Grandpa of Tony, Stephen, Josh, Kayla and Justin; Pap Pap of Devin, Dorian, Bryce, Ashley, Alyssa, Lexi, and Tyler and Loving Brother of Carla, Irene, Jesse (Ann) and Audrey (Pip). He was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are private and handled by Stephen D Slater Funeral Home, Jefferson Hills.
