Linda L. (Janczewski) Massaro
Linda Louise Massaro, age 68, of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017. She was born, Linda Louise Janczewski in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, daughter of Leonard Marshall Janczweski and Julia Grace (Kolocin) Janczewski. Linda, like her mother, loved to cook; she loved being a “MOM”, always a caregiver to her family and to others; she was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton, Pennsylvania.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard Dean Massaro in 2013. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, David Massaro, son, Michael Massaro and brother, Leonard Janczewski, Jr. all of Jefferson Hills. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews
Friends will be received on Monday, March 27, 2017 from 2 – 4 PM and 7 – 9 PM in the Stephen D Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills. On Tuesday, March 28, 2017 there will be a prayer in the funeral home at 9:15 AM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church 460 Reed Street, Clairton, Pennsylvania 15025. Her burial will follow in St. Clare Cemetery on Worthington Avenue in Clairton.
