LARRY  “JOE”  ELLIOTT

Joe Elliott, age 68 of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, died on Thursday, August 4, 2022.  Joe was born April 19, 1954, in Weston, West Virginia the second of ten children of James Wesley Elliott and Wanda Jean (Moneypenny) Elliott.

He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School of the West Jefferson Hills School District in 1972.  After graduation he went to work for McDonald's Corporation at the Pleasant Hills location and worked his way up to a manager.  Next, he worked for Don Farr Moving and Storage Company in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania for 30 years during the 1980’s into the early 2000’s. He was working for Beltex Industrial Textile Company in Pittsburgh as a Truck Driver until his death.

Joe loved working on motorcycles and cars.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John “Mike” Elliott and his longtime companion Diane DiLucia.  Joe is survived by his eight sisters and brothers, Barbara Elliott, Bob (Kathy) Elliott of Baldwin Borough, Pittsburgh, PA, Jim (Donna) Elliott of Pittsburgh, Cathy Elliott of Elizabeth, PA, Alisha (Joe) Lebarty of Brookline, Pittsburgh, PA, and Nora “Libby” Elliott, Joyce Elliott, Mary Lou Elliott and her son Zachary all of Elizabeth, PA and a stepson, Nick Brucker of Munhall, PA.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, August 8, 2022, from 5 – 7 PM in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 (412-384-0350) www.stephendslater.com.  There will be no public funeral service following the visitation.
