Jean was a lifelong member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Elizabeth and later St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church in Elrama. She was also a member of the Christian Mothers.

Her favorite time of year was Christmas. She loved happy-ending Christmas stories which she always started binging in July. Jean loved knitting while watching the Hallmark Channel. Jean’s greatest passion was painting. For many years she was a co-owner of Kountry Kreations and enjoyed painting with her many friends. Her first passion was masterfully creating women’s looks as a beautician. She was the proud owner of a beauty salon, which she ran from her home. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and word search puzzles.

She enjoyed canning the fresh fruits and vegetables that her father, and later husband, grew in their backyard. She was also an avid baker, famous for her homemade sauce, lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs.

Her day started with Starbucks Coffee and peanut butter and jelly toast, not too much jelly or she would tell you about it. Her day ended at 10 pm, which she could tell even without a clock. The day always ended the same way. She always said “good night”, “I love you”, “see you tomorrow”.

Jean was a kind, loving and compassionate person with a hello and a smile for everyone she met.

Jean asked that her wishes be respected fulfilled as stated in her “Will” to be cremated with no viewing and to be buried in eternal peace and happiness alongside her beloved husband Charles R. Levdansky.
