Jayne Clutter age 93, of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, died peacefully on Tuesday morning April 1, 2025. She was born, Dorothy Jayne Hall, on September 1, 1931, in Washington, Pennsylvania, one of two daughters of James Robert Hall and Freda (Lowe) Hall, and grew up there, graduating from Trinity High School.
She married Harry Wendell Clutter, and they lived and raised their family in West Mifflin. Jayne was a longtime member of the Lebanon Presbyterian Church in West Mifflin and served as an Elder on the Session Board, a Deacon and as a member of the Christian Servitors.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, of 62 years, and her sister, Dorris Jean Rea. She is survived by two children, son, James Robert (Nancy) Clutter and daughter, Jo Ann (Charles) Adams; six grandchildren, Matthew (Karen) Clutter, Timothy (Jenn) Clutter, Brian (Rachael) Clutter, Lindsay (Alex) McKenzie, Scott (Coralyn) Adams and Kristin (Joel) Hill and fifteen great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 11:30 am until the time of her funeral service at 12:30 pm in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home Route 51 (Large) Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 (412-384-0350) www.stephendslater.com with Pastor Dave Morgans officiating. Her burial will follow in Lebanon Church Cemetery, also in West Mifflin.
In lieu of flowers, her family suggests donations be made in her name to Vitas Hospice 2009 Mackenzie Way, Suite 110 Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania 16066.
