JACK A. MAKEPEACE
Jack Alfred Makepeace, age 73 of the Floreffe area of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016. He was born on March 26, 1943 in Charleroi, Pennsylvania one of three children of Ralph Charleston Makepeace and Virginia Ruth (Hicks) Makepeace. Jack was a member of the Academy of Model Aeronautics club that flew model airplanes at Cedar Creek Park in Rostraver Township, Pennsylvania.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Makepeace. He is survived by his wife, Patti (Chilzer) Makepeace; two daughters, Carlotta (Rob) Sherwood of Sharon, Pennsylvania and Lisa (Rob) Sickels of Monongahela, Pennsylvania; many grandchildren; two sisters, Susan (Mario) Rossetti of Elizabeth Township, Pennsylvania and Mary (Richard “Moe”) Lasich of Jefferson Hills and by many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 from 3 – 8 PM. There will be a brief service in the funeral home following the visitation.
