HOPE EVANS

Hope Evans, age 44, of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 22, 2014.  She was born June 12, 1969 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania a daughter of Joyce (Hurley) Evans.  Hope was a member of Living Hope Assembly of God Church in Clairton, Pennsylvania and was the “caregiver” for any of her family members in need.

In addition to her mother, with whom she resided, Hope is survived by two sons, Brandon and Joshua VanKirk;  two brothers, Clay (Suzanne) Evans and John (Elaina) Evans; one sister, Kristy (Carl) Williams; her special friend, Wade Kildow and her aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 6 – 8 PM on Tuesday and 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM on Wednesday in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills, where her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 AM.  Pastor Sharon Lopez of the Living Hope Assembly will officiate the service.  Her burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery in Pleasant Hills, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
