GRACE  V.  CELESTINO

Grace Celestino, age 96 of West Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, died on Sunday, February 11, 2018.  She was born, Grace Virginia Lloyd on June 30, 1921 in West Elizabeth, one of six children of Harry Bryan Lloyd and Mary Belle (Keenist) Lloyd.  Along with raising her family, Grace was a telephone operator for Bell Telephone during the 1940’s and 1950’s and she belonged to the Floreffe and West Elizabeth Fire Company’s Ladies Auxiliary’s.  She eventually became a Lifetime member of the Floreffe Ladies Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur A. Celestino on January 2, 2003; her son, Daryl Arthur Celestino on October 11, 2015 and four of her siblings, sisters, Betty Rush, Elsie Greenwald and Ruth Weightman and brother, Harry Lloyd.

Grace is survived by her daughter, Sharyn (Ronald) Trunzo of Woodhaven, Michigan; daughter-in-law, Eileen Celestino of West Elizabeth; three grandchildren, Timothy (Stella) Trunzo of Riverview, Michigan, Craig (Megan) Celestino of Brighton, Pennsylvania and Gina (Justin) Deem of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania; five great grandchildren, Sophia and Fiona Trunzo, Connor Celestino and Carter and Landon Deem and one brother, Duane Lloyd.

Friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 1 – 3 PM and 6 – 8 PM.  Her funeral service will be in the funeral home on Friday, February 16, 2018 at 10 AM.  Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery in Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania.

Grace loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
