DORIS  MOTTER  TESKA

Doris Motter Teska, age 72 of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, died September 21, 2019.  She was born Doris Ann Kurland on January 22, 1947 in   Kulpmont, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania one of four children of Vincent John Kurland and Dorothy Lynn (Blaha) Kurland.

Doris was a self-employed Beautician in the Jefferson Hills area for many years.  She loved yard work, crossword puzzles, watching movies and card clubs.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Jerome Motter.  She is survived by her husband, James E. Teska; two children, Karl Motter and Debra (Craig) Meehleib; three grandchildren, Wesley and Katie Motter and Chuck (Danielle) Meehleib; two great grandchildren, Charlie and Danny Meehleib; three siblings, brother, John (Elaine) Kurland and sisters, Mary Ann (Phillip) Newby and Nancy (Duane) Lloyd and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 (412-384-0350) on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 11 AM.  Her Burial will take place in St. Clare Cemetery, Clairton, Pennsylvania.
