DONALD  PAUL  BUCK

Donald Buck, age 89 of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, November 23, 2021. Don was born in Gallitzin, Cambria County, Pennsylvania on January 28, 1932, one of fifteen children of John Edward and Lucy Stella (Litzinger) Buck.

He worked as Foreman for US Steel at the Irvin Works in West Mifflin for over 30 years, beginning in 1955. Don was an active member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in West Mifflin and a longtime choir member.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Lois (Murray) Buck in 2011 and thirteen of his siblings, brothers, John, Robert, Walter, Raymond, Harold, James, Richard and Wayne Buck and sisters, Stella Lawn, Esther Clark, Dorothy Buck, Janet Rex, and Mary Jean Mirovich.

Don is survived by three children, sons, Thomas (Darlene) Buck of West Mifflin, Daniel (Lynn) Buck of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania and Diane (Bill) Finn of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Steven Buck, Heather (Robert) McQuain, Megan (Randy) Knight and Maura (Denny) Evans; four great grandchildren, Charlotte, Elise, Sophia and Rowan; his remaining sibling, brother, Gerald (Bonnie) Buck of Altoona, Pennsylvania and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 26, 2021, from 3 – 7 pm in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania 15025 (412-384-0350) www.stephendslater.com. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 12 Noon on Saturday, November 27, 2021, in Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, Holy Spirit Church 2603 Old Elizabeth Road, West Mifflin, Pennsylvania 15122. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. Burial for Don will follow the mass in the Lebanon Church Cemetery immediately next to the church.
