CLARA BOSLEY

Clara Bosley, age 90 of McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, died on Friday, October 9, 2020.  She was born on August 31, 1930 and grew up in the McKees Rocks Bottoms, one of six children of John and Sophie (Smith) Chapla.  Clara was the youngest child.

She graduated from McKees Rocks High School in 1948 and was a long time employee of Stop N Go / CoGos Stores, working in stores in the McKees Rocks and Kennedy Townships area.  Clara was an avid bowler; loved playing cards and always loved others.  She especially loved driving her friends to their Doctors appointments and for errands as she had her drivers license when many of them did not.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Jay Bosley, Sr in 2003 and all five of her siblings, brothers, Rudy, Joe, Chester and Eddie Chapla and sister, Jenny O’Toole.  Clara is survived by two children, Jay (Gail Guenther) Bosley and Karen Arlet and three grandchildren.

Due to the Corona Virus there will be no services for Clara at this time.  She will be buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery in McKees Rocks next to her husband.
