CHARLES “BUCKY” PASCOE

Charles A. “Bucky” Pascoe age 97, a long time resident of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, died on Thursday, December 7, 2017 surrounded by his wife and daughters.  He was born on October 2, 1920 in West Elizabeth, Pennsylvania, one of 3 children of Charles and Elizabeth (Wilson) Pascoe.  Bucky was a steelworker for US Steel at the Clairton Works for over 40 years; he was an avid golfer and gardener.  He also served as a Staff Sergeant in the U. S. Army during WW II.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by both of his siblings, his brother, Carl Pascoe and his sister, Catherine Vern.  Bucky is survived by his wife of 73 years Anne (Cifra) Pascoe; three daughters, Judy (Ron) Heald of Manchester, England, Janice (Tom) Kennedy of Peters Township, Pennsylvania and Charlene (Alan) Augenstein of Phoenix, Arizona; four grandchildren, Heather (Swen) Neufeldt, Thomas (Megan) Kennedy, John (Barbara) Eustice and Ryan (Teisha) Kennedy; eight great grandchildren, Karina, Kiera, Jack, Arianna, Sebastian, Kieren, Breccan and Hannah.

Friends will be received in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home (Large) in Jefferson Hills on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 1 – 3 and 6 – 8 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 10 AM in St. Benedict the Abbot Catholic Church in Peters Township.  EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH.  Bucky’s burial with Military Honors will be in Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery in Pleasant Hills, Pennsylvania.
