CALVIN S. FELIX
Calvin S. Felix, age 87, of the Cochran Mill area of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, died Monday, February 11, 2013 in Southwestern Assisted Living in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania. He was born February 19, 1925 in Elm Grove, West Virginia one of four children of John and Olive (Black) Felix. Calvin was a member of Operating Engineers Union Local # 66 and was a World War II U. S. Army Veteran of the European Theater.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Jean (Pearson) Felix (1976) and his two sisters, Kathleen Goddard and Olive Mae Covert. Calvin is survived by his son, Calvin H. (Patti) Felix and Daughter, Joyce Lynn Felix both of Jefferson Hills; two granddaughters, Lori Lynn (Patrick) Danen also of Jefferson Hills and Amy Lynn Feden of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania; six great grandchildren, Angela, Amanda, Matthew and Alyssa Danen and Dylan and Austyn Feden and one brother, James (Marilyn E.) Felix of Arizona.
Friends will be received from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 PM on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 in the Stephen D. Slater Funeral Home 1701 Route 51 (Large) in Jefferson Hills where his funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 11 AM with Reverend Sandra Marsh – McClain officiating. Interment with Military Honors will be in Jefferson Memorial Park Cemetery in Pleasant Hills, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
