Alan C Delmastro

Alan C. Delmastro, age 79, of Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023, at his home. He was born on June 13, 1944, one of three children of the late Emma and Charles Delmastro.

Alan's professional journey was defined by dedication and hard work. He built a career working for Gulf Oil and the National Energy Technology Center (NETL). He was a well educated person receiving several degrees, a B.S. in Mathematics as well as an M.A. in Mathematics from Duquesne University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh.

Faith played a role in Alan's life, he was a member of Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish. He loved Michigan Wolverines sports and baseball and he loved to swim.  He also loved to travel exploring different parts of the country and world, from Hawaii and Las Vegas to Switzerland. Locally he enjoyed going to Phipps Conservatory.

In addition to his parents, Alan was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta Arvay Delmastro. He is survived by his children John Delmastro, Angela (Timothy) Harshman; Grandchildren Mara O'Shaughessy, & Lawson Harshman; Sisters Charlene (George) Tobias and Chris Ann Delmastro. His parents Charles and Emma Delmastro preceded him in death.

A Memorial Mass will be held for Alan on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 10AM at St. Thomas A’becket Church, Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania.
